Anushka Sharma is an Bollywood actress and producer. She is amongst the highest-paid actresses, and has been awarded numerous nominations for her performance. Her first appearance as a fashion model came in 2017 in which she was a model with Wendell Rodricks at Lakme Fashion Week, and then was chosen by Rodricks to be a model at his spring-summer 2007 collection. After her modeling debut during Lakme Fashion Week Anushka did several campaigns for brands like and she's done ads to promote the brand's Silk & Shine Whisper Nathella Jewelry and Fiat Palio etc. Anushka began an acting course before beginning to audition for film roles alongside her modelling career. In 2008, Anushka Sharma was the first actress to make her debut in the movie Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi opposite Shah Rukh Khan. She took the time to study and was able to not attempt the test on her own. Later, she was signed to three films by Yash Raj Films. She was the wife of a young man of a man who was older in the movie (the exact same character that Shah Rukh Khan played). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. In 2010 Anushka Sharma starred in the film "Badmash Co together with Shahid Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor. Das and Meiyang Chang. The film was met with mixed receptions. The same year Anushka Sharma appeared in the film 'Band Baaja Baaraat' alongside Ranveer Singh, in which she played an upper-middle class Punjabi girl who begins her own wedding-planning business. It received a favourable review, and was considered to be a surprise success. With Band Baaja Baaraat Anushka's three-film deal under the Yash Raj Films banner was completed.
